We don't just invest.
We build with you.
unus.one is a European startup factory — a venture studio that co-founds, funds, and scales companies from the ground up. Since 2014, we have been turning ideas into validated businesses across Germany, London, Switzerland, and beyond.

What is a Startup Factory?
A startup factory — also called a venture studio — is an organisation that systematically creates, funds, and scales multiple companies at the same time. Unlike a traditional investor who writes a cheque and steps back, a startup factory acts as an active co-founder: it sits inside the company, shares the risk, and does the work.
The model exists because most startups fail not from a lack of ideas, but from a lack of the right infrastructure at the right moment — no technical team, no operational backbone, no access to capital, no network. A startup factory solves all of that before the first line of code is written.
Think of it as the difference between handing someone a plot of land and handing them a fully equipped construction company. The idea is yours. The machinery is ours.
What unus.one Provides
Every company we co-found gets access to the same shared infrastructure that would take years and millions to build independently. This is what makes the studio model faster and more capital-efficient than going it alone.
Technical Foundation
Engineering team, cloud infrastructure, and production-grade architecture from day one — no hiring, no setup time.
Capital & Funding
Seed funding and access to our investor network across Europe. We fund what we believe in — and we only build what we believe in.
Operational Support
Legal, finance, HR, and compliance handled centrally. You focus on the product and the customer. We handle the rest.
European Network
Rooted in Germany, grown in London and Switzerland. Our network spans Europe and connects to markets worldwide.
Idea Validation
We test assumptions before we build. Market research, customer discovery, and rapid prototyping reduce failure risk before a single euro is spent.
Growth & Scale
From first customer to Series A — we stay involved through every stage, providing the commercial and technical leverage to scale.
Why the Studio Model Works
The traditional startup path is brutal. A solo founder spends 12 months raising money, 6 months hiring a team, and another 6 months building infrastructure — before a single customer is served. The studio model compresses that timeline dramatically.
Because resources are shared across multiple companies simultaneously, the cost per company drops and the speed to market increases. A technical platform built for one portfolio company is immediately available to the next. A legal framework negotiated once applies to all.
Research consistently shows that venture studio companies reach product-market fit faster and have significantly higher survival rates than independently founded startups. The reason is simple: they are not starting from zero.
Our Story — Built in Europe, Working Worldwide
unus.one did not begin as a grand vision. It began as a practical answer to a real problem: talented founders in Europe had great ideas but no reliable infrastructure to build on. We started building that infrastructure in 2014.
Who We Work With
We work with founders who have a clear problem to solve but need the infrastructure, capital, and co-founding expertise to solve it at scale. We also work with established businesses that want to launch a new product line or digital venture without building a separate company from scratch.
We are not a fit for every idea. We are selective because we are co-founders, not consultants — we take equity, share the risk, and commit fully. That means we only work with ideas we genuinely believe can become significant businesses.
If you are a first-time founder, a technical builder without a commercial partner, or an established brand ready to venture into new territory — we should talk.
Your idea.
Our infrastructure.
Tell us what you are building. We will tell you honestly whether we can help — and how.
